Reporting

Reporting is perhaps a misleading term what PerfectForms reporting actually is. Reporting lets you build the following

  • Build application Portals, User Interfaces and Front-Ends
  • Build drill-down reports & dashboards on your form data
  • Build mult-page reports in the more conventional sense

Annoyingly, we currently do not offer reporting printing, but this is being worked on and we plan to have printable PDF reports in May or June 2009.

 

"How-it-works" Examples

  • Example Application Portal & Dashboard - this gives a 30'000ft view of one important application we use ourselves at PerfectForms.
  • Reporting Overview - this is the video from the full PerfectForms overview you can find
  • Reporting on Forms that contain Tables - tables create a one-to-many situation and you need to be careful when reporting on normal fields where your data source also includes table fields; this is a useful one to watch to avoid what might look like an error but is actually PerfectForms trying to make something usable that is quite gnarly
